Shirley Ann (Cox) Peterson, 59, of Waco, passed away Sunday, January 18, 2009 at a local nursing center. Services will be 2PM Wednesday, January 21st at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Daniel Daywitt officiating. Burial will follow at Blum Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8PM Tuesday, January 20th at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend in Waco. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Ruby and Cecil Cox; and brothers, Jackie and Danny Ray Cox.
Survivors include son, Richard Murphree and wife, Janith of Valley Mills; daughter, Robin Lilley of Bastrop; daughter, Jennifer Arnold and husband, Kylie of China Spring; son, Daniel Peterson and wife, Darlyn of Goatneck; sisters, Pamela Bowen of Waco and Kimberley Cox of Kyle; grandchildren, Kourtney and Kashius; nieces, Amanda Bowen and Stephany Bowen; and nephew, Steve Bowen, Jr.
