Shirley Jean Nonamaker, 84 of Hallsburg, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2020.
Graveside Service:2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 9th at Horn Hill Cemetery in Limestone County with Rev. Andy Crawford officiating.
Born Shirley Jean Wilson on August 25, 1935 in Groesbeck, to Omilee and Hazel Wilson. Shirley attended school in Mexia, where she graduated in 1953. In 1954 Shirley married Bobby Dailey and had 4 children. After her divorce in 1969 she married Doyle Nonamaker in 1969. Doyle and 3 of his 5 children came to live in her blended family. Shirley and Doyle enjoyed 43 years of marriage until his death in 2012. After their retirement they enjoyed traveling, hunting and camping with friends and family. Shirley was preceded in death by her father and mother, daughters, Donna and Kathryn; and granddaughter, Isabell. Survivors include her sister, Doris Easterling and husband, Tink; daughters, Robbie Dailey, Sarah Denney and husband, Mike, Suean Burden and husband, Bill, Patricia Nonamaker and partner, Chris; sons, Kenneth Dailey and wife, Missy, Richard Nonamaker and Clifford Davenport and wife, Debbie; along with 22 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Shirley will be missed by everyone she ever met.
