Shirley Owens, 76, of Waco, passed away Tuesday, May 1st at a local hospital. At the request of Mrs. Owens, she did not want any form of a service. At the request of the family, thoughts and memories may be shared in the online Guest Book at www.LakeShoreFuneralHome.com.
Shirley was born March 3, 1936 in Saluda, Virginia to Henry Allen (Boughton) and Evalyn (Burch) Boughton. She was a very loving person that touched many lives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl C.

Shirley was such a dear friend to me and my family. From the days at "Wordy Records" to raising our kids together and beyond, I could always count on her to be there. I will miss her greatly. She was really one of a kind.
