Pat was born June 4, 1949, in Houma, LA and later adopted by Frank and Minnie Schraer. She grew up in San Angelo, TX where she attended Catholic School until graduation.
On May 23, 1974, she married Jimmy Kirkpatrick in a simple, loving ceremony in Houston, TX and together built a life that is admired by many. Pat spent most of her adult life as a very talented seamstress, handling everything from simple alterations to beautiful bridal gowns. She also spent many hours perfecting Halloween costumes and formal gowns for her daughters.
To know Pat is to love her. She was outspoken, big-hearted, and always willing to give advice in any situation. She had a quick wit and amazing sense of humor, making incredible memories that have lasted a lifetime. She always loved having all of the family together, whether a major holiday or just because, especially being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Pat was preceded in death by parents, Frank and Minnie Schraer; daughter, Shelli Price; and great-grandchild Karsyn Wright.
She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Jimmy Kirkpatrick; son, Todd Martin; daughters, Mandy Kirkpatrick and Jimi Dawn Clower (Rodney); grandchildren, Stephanie (Blaine), Paige (Sky), Austyn, and Greysen; and great-grandchildren, Abigail, Jessi, Gentry, and Oaklyn.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at 4 South Ascension Providence, Providence Hospice, and the Waco Fire Department.

Don and I are so sorry for your loss. Your mother was such a special lady. We will always be there for you.
We love you
I am so incredibly sorry that you all have lost two loved ones so close together. Your poor family has been through so much, I’m sending you all tons of love! I imagine Shelli greeting Pat with open arms and celebrating Shelli’s birthday together.
Oh my goodness I am so heart broken for for the loss of Shirley. I can to know and love her during her stays in rehab at St Catherine’s. At some point we realized we both had been apart of the Bosqueville community. She was sweetest and kinda liked her even more, my mom’s own name was Shirley too! To Mr. Kirkpatrick my sincere condolences to you! Rest in Peace!
