Stacy Latrece Woodard-Walker, 51, of Waco, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, January 26, 2024 at her home.

Memorial Service: 11:30AM Saturday, February 3 at New Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 1113 Payne St., Waco, Tx 76704

Stacy was born January 27, 1972 in Waco, TX to Lorenzo and Linda J. Woodard. She attended Waco ISD schools, graduating from Waco High School in 1990. Stacy also graduated from McLennan Community College, obtaining a certification in Fashion Merchandising in 1992. After several years of dating, Stacy married Mr. Randal Walker in 1999. Of this union, three children were born, Jalen, Khalil, and Jada Walker. She worked in the medical field for several years for both Hillcrest and Providence Clinics, serving in a number of roles until she became ill with breast cancer and eventually, brain cancer in August of 2021. Stacy enjoyed sewing, cooking, and most of all spending time with her family and close friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lorenzo and Linda J. Woodard

Stacy is survived by her husband, Randal Walker; sons, Jalen and Khalil Walker; daughter, Jada Walker all of Waco, TX, Paige Walker of Dallas, TX; grandson, Ja’Princeton Walker of Waco,TX; and brother, Reginald Woodard and wife Marisa of Waco, TX. She is also survived by a number of beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends that will cherish and miss her dearly.

A very special thanks to Michelle Dunnam, Phyliss Batts, and the rest of Halycon Home Health Team for providing superb care for our beloved mother.
