Stanley Andrews

Stanley Andrews went home to his Heavenly Father surrounded by family and friend on June 6, 2018.He was 76 years old.

Service Information: Arrangements are pending for his interment with honors at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas.

Stan will always be remembered by his smile and sense of humor. He was born in Sacramento California to Eugene and Audia Withroder on December 12, 1941. He grew up in California and attended school in Citrus Heights, California and served in the Navy from 1959 to 1965. Stan was a designer of alternative buildings. He received a Certificate of Design from Pima Community College in Tucson, Arizona and was a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. While living in Tucson he sang with the gospel group The Messengers, who opened for the Blackwood Brothers at a local concert. He met and married his wife Ann in April of 1980, and helped her raise her three children Kimberly, Mark, and Brad. After moving to Texas in 1985 Stan attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He worked as an over the road driver, and after moving to Lake Whitney worked for Carter Blood Care in Waco and Bedford TX. He retired from Carter Blood and enjoyed walking his Basset Hounds, watching Christian television, and designing.

Stan is survived by his wife, Ann of 38 years; son, Jason Wiegand of New York; step children, Kimberly Fryman of Adrian, Michigan, Mark Kemp of Harleysville, Pennsylvania, and Brad Kemp of Los Angeles, California and sister, Carol Long of Olympia, California. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Audia Withroder, brother, James Withroder, and son, Scott Bobby Andrews.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
