Stephen Ray Dieterich passed away early Friday morning, July 14, 2023 at his residence in Ross, TX.
Memorial Service: 4PM Wednesday, July 19 at Lake Shore Funeral Home
Steve was born November 22, 1957 in Waco to Billie Noland. He attended Crawford ISD and graduated in 1976. On March 29, 1991 he was united in marriage to Patricia (Long) Ricketts in Las Vegas. Steve was employed at Owens-Illinois glass plant for 40 years. He loved spending his spare time with his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Dieterich; mother, Billie Nolan; step-father, Eddie Nolan; grandmother, Nora Connolly; brothers, Cliff Dieterich, and Kevin Dieterich.
He is survived by children, Lakn Dieterich, Evan Ricketts and wife Heather, Christopher Dieterich and wife Melissa, Tory Dobecka and husband Kevin; brothers, Marshall Dieterich, Ronnie Dieterich, and Terry Jo Dieterich; grandchildren, Tyler Ricketts, Hailey Ricketts, Jake Dieterich, Heidi Rickketts, Quinlan Dobecka, and Rendon Dobecka, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Prayers for the Dieterich Family. So hard to lose a Dad, grandad, brother, uncle and friend. Stephen will be missed by all who knew him. I have some great memories of him in high school. He was a good athlete , big joker and good friend. May God comfort you.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of the Dieterich family, especially Chris, as you go through this tough time. We go back many years, and Stephen always had a special place in my heart. I know he was loved and will be missed.

I just found out about Steven’s passing. My thought and prayers are with his family. Steven and I went to Crawford High school together. It seems that our small little graduating class has gotten a little smaller. Again I’m so sorry to hear about your loss.
