Steve Reyes, 71, of Waco, passed away peacefully Friday, June 3, 2022.
Celebration of Life: 6 PM Monday, June 13, 2022 at Lake Shore Funeral Home
Steve was born September 2, 1950 to Benito Reyes and Priscilla (Felan) Reyes.
Steve loved being with family, shooting the shit and hanging with his partners in crime he called grand kids. He loved playing dominoes, listening to country music, drinking his medicine “wink wink”, and watching his all-time favorite “Andy Griffith” and western shows. His jokes kept everyone on their toes.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Benito and Priscilla Reyes; and brother, Paul Reyes.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Diana Pena and husband David, Stephanie Reyes Ramirez, and Stephanie Lawson and husband, Ryan; sons, Steve Reyes, and Steve Reyes, Jr.; brother, Benny Reyes and wife, Connie; sisters, Julie Butt, Petra Moreno and husband Juan, and Henrietta Montoya and husband Jessie; grandchildren, Cierra Reyes-Tovar, Le’Anna Reyes-Tovar, Angel Reyes, Ezra Reyes, and Rylan Pena; and the love of his life, he never quite got over, Tressa Aranda.
