Tanthea Edison, 76, of China Spring, passed away Friday, December 8th at her residence.
Funeral Service: 1PM Tuesday, December 12th at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Wyers officiating. Burial will follow at China Spring Cemetery.
Visitation: 6 to 8PM Monday, December 11th at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend in Waco.
Tanthea was born May 15, 1941 in Hico to Gilbert and Lois (Toten) Taylor. She married Charlie Jim Edison on October 18, 1958 in China Spring. She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of The Church at Tree Lake.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Charlie Jim Edison, her parents; grandson, Matthew Edison; and brother-in-law, Johnny Tye.
Survivors include daughter, Lana Kay Martin and husband Chip; son, Troy L. Edison and wife Melissa; grandchildren, Bradley Peck, Shelly Anderson, and husband Cody, Timothy Peck, Zachary Edison, and Chance Bradbury; great grandchildren, Bryson, Evie, Jakeson, Matthew, Emma, and Jessica; siblings, Cleta Tye, Ralph Taylor and wife Faylene, Sarah Fielding and husband Jim; and a host of nieces and nephews.

We were neighbors to Ms. Tanny for 8 years. We loved her so much. She had a heart of gold, and treated us like family. Ms. Tanny we love you and know you are in Heaven with Mr. Charles.
