I just found out about your passing. You were such a good man. We have many fond memories of you and Eula Mae. Thank you for the memories.
Many fond memories of uncle Ted and aunt Bunk as far back as my childhood. Our prayers are with all of you.
Ted was one of the finest people I have ever known. I have such fond memories of weekends and holidays spent on his farm with him & Bunk (Eula Mae). He was a wonderful example of the way we should live our lives. God Bless you, Ted. Rest in peace.
I remember Mr. Lindsey from the late 60’s at Oak Lawn Baptist Church. He and I did the Sunday School records together for quite a while. I was a teen-ager at the time and remember how much I enjoyed our time in the church office on Sunday mornings. I also remember going out to his home to get cattle manure for our yard. It was always a treat to see the dalmatians and the milking operation. He and his wife were sweet people and will remain a wonderful memory for me. My sympathy to your family.
I have lived at Gholson all my life, my sister and I met Mr. Lindsey at Dr Jerry Miller’s Vet Clinic many years ago. We helped Dr. Miller do a C-Section on one of Mr. Lindsey’s cows. The next day Mr. Lindsey called us to help him catch another cow that was trying to have a calf, what I remember the most we were in his blue pickup and we slid in the sand and hit the gate post. We did catch the cow and pulled the calf. Mr. Lindsey I will always have that memory, I think about it everytime I pass your gate. Rest in peace.
