Thomas Richard Siefert, 73, of Waco, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 27, 2014. Services will be at 2 PM on Thursday, January 30, at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ken Riley officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 PM on Wednesday, January 29, at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend in Waco. Tom was born on February 28, 1940 in Graceville, Minnesota to Roy and Elizabeth Green Siefert. He was an evangelist and homebuilder and a devoted husband and father. Tom loved the Lord and will be missed by many.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria Siefert of Waco; daughter, Christine Siefert of Waco; son, David Siefert and wife, Staci of Waco; four grandchildren, Julia, Joel, John and Jacob; three sisters; one brother; and many nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests tributes made to "Christians United for Israel" (CUFI.org).

Tom was a wonderful and caring man that will be missed here on this earth as he is in heaven now. My thoughts, prayers, and love goes out to the Siefert family and all the many friends he touched throughout his life.
My deepest sympathy and condolences goes out to your family. I know there are no words to ease your pain, but may I offer a few words of encouragement. A wonderful Godly man has now gone to be with Jesus!! What a testimony he’s left behind of and ordinary man filled with Gods glory! And a family strong in the Faith!! Sorry for your loss Siefert family! Tom was a "Godly" man & an inspiration to Julie & I. Thanks for sharing him with us for the short time we were together. We’ll meet up with him in heaven.

Robert & I are very saddened to hear that Tom has passed. We have been so blessed by knowing Tom and all of you guys. He was a amazing man of God and I always wanted to hear what he might have to say because of the Godly wisdom he could impart, not to mention the "Siefert" sense of humor! We love you all and always know we are lifting you up in prayer.
I am sad to read of Mr. Siefert’s passing. One of the rewards of my working at American Bank was to get to meet the Siefert family.
What a terribly hard thing it is to have someone we love gone so unexpectedly. Our thoughts and prayers are and will be with you as you grieve.
Siefert family – I was so saddened to read aout Tom’s homegoing. I will miss seeing him in church on Sundays. I always loved his smile and greeting when he saw me. One of my VLC favorites! Thinking and praying for all of you.
