Thomas Richard Sutton 76, of Temple, passed away Thursday, September 25th.
Richard was born on October 25, 1937 in Dallas Texas where he resided his childhood years. In 1957, Richard joined the Air Force and served as a airman second class until 1963. Richard retired with 30 years honored service from American Airlines on August 30th, 1995. Richard later retired to Sutton Loop in Temple where he enjoyed his ham radio hobby, feeding his pet deer and time with his Sons of the Confederate Veterans members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Beatrice (Beasley) Sutton; granddaughter, Kimberly Shaw; and brother, Wayne Sutton.
Survivors include his daughters, Karen Dooley and husband Kenneth, Kathy Moon and husband Roger, and Melissa Sutton; son, Richard Kyle Sutton; 11 grandchildren, Shelby, Kayla, Kassie, Cole, Nick, Summer, Chris, Tiffany, Cory, Brandon and Logan; 10 great grandchildren; brother, Francis Sutton; sister, Patsy Hulsey and husband Add; several nieces and nephews, including special nephews Richard Sutton and Keith Sutton.
Memorials may be made to Sons of the Confederate Veterans, Camp #1250, P.O. Box 794 Salado, TX 76571.

I will miss my Uncle Richard very much,he was an amazing man. He was a very loving and giving man. He helped me out millions of times whenever I needed anything, when I was little, but specially in my teen years. Love you Uncle Richie!
We both had our sweet 16 at Uncle Richards house. He was so generous and kind and the biggest heart. Some of my fondest memories was at his house. we love u Uncle Richard
