Visitation: Friday, January 14, 2022, 6 – 8 PM at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel

Funeral Service: Saturday, January 15, 2022, 10 AM at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel. Burial to follow at Waco Memorial Park.

Our sweet mother Vivian Louise Duett was born October 28, 1934 in Waco. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones at home January 9, 2022. Vivian married Gene Duett July 4 of 1969. Her favorite past times included arts & crafts, coloring, playing solitaire, and watching “The Lone Ranger” and “Roy Rogers Show”. But most of all she loved long visits with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Vivian is survived by her daughter, Helen Ferguson and husband Scott of Lacy-Lakeview; son, Roy Gene McCown and wife Stephanie of Waco; grandsons, Kyle McCown of Waco, Jerry Head and daughter-in-law Stefanie Sansone of Lacy Lakeview, David Head and daughter-in-law Talen Williams 0f Brownwood; granddaughters, Kelsey Smith and husband Luke of Robinson, Heather Ferguson and husband Zach Olsen of Waco; great grandbabies, Haylen, Cayden, Baylen, Elizabeth, Kinsley, Emily, Colton, Presleigh, Lucas, Ariel and Luna Rose (on the way). Along with several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Vivian was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Duett; parents, William and Lilly McCown of Waco, and sisters, Helen Brault and Darlene Bigham of Waco.
