The family of Wallace Hand is sad to announce his passing on February 11, 2010. Services will be 10AM Monday, February 15th at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Johnson officiating. A reception will follow the service. Private interment will be at Moore Cemetery in Chalk Bluff. Visitation will be 4 to 6PM Sunday at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend in Waco. PawPaw Hand, as he was affectionately known by his grandkids, was born in Glendale, Arizona on February 26, 1927. His early life was spent on cotton farms and cattle ranches in both Arizona and Texas, with three brothers and two sisters. The family eventually settled in Chalk Bluff. I lost my Dad, who was also my ROCK, 19 years ago March 10th, and I know how difficult it is to lose a Dad. The good side of it is we know we will see them again on the other side. May you find some comfort in knowing that, and in the peace that only God can give.
