Wendy Boone, 62, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021.
Service Information: Visitation only will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 31, at Lake Shore Funeral Home.
Wendy was born July 17, 1959 to Billy and Alma Lile in Waco, Texas. She attended University High School and graduated in 1977. Wendy was a people person and loved talking to people. She was very generous and caring who would give the shirt off her back to you if needed. Wendy was an avid reader and loved her career as a real estate agent. She was also known for the many things she baked from cheesecakes, banana pudding to her German chocolate cake, it was all good to those who had the opportunity to taste it. Wendy loved her family and enjoyed hosting them and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Lile; and brother, Milton Lile.
Survivors include her loving husband, Scott Boone; daughter, Monica Neang and husband, Sam; grandson, Koa Neang; mother, Alma Lile; sister, Susan Hecker and husband, Don; mother-in-law, Janice Dye; sister-in-law, Yvonne Williams and husband, Clayton; nieces, Whitney Otting, Rachel Warren, Brittany Patrick, and Kristen Hecker; and nephew, Stevie Sowders.

Wendy was the nicest person! She truly would do anything you needed her to do. She was always willing to help anyone that needed it. I know she will be missed very much. So sorry to the family. This is a very sad loss.

This is such a shock to my system!! Wendy and I met at Olan Mills but soon discovered were almost kin. I grew up with her family back in my previous life of horse shows and rodeos. Wonderful memories and great people. So Wendy came from a gracious loving family as you could tell from her attitude, loving disposition, welcoming smile, and always ready to laugh with you!!
