William H. (Bill) Rader, 92, of Waco, passed away April 30, 2015.

Graveside Services: 2 PM Sunday, May 3, 2015 at Moore Cemetery in Chalk Bluff.

William H. Rader was born January 11, 1923 in Leavittsburg, OH to Raymond W. and Hazel (Bell) Rader. Bill married Lucile Smith on August 20, 1942 in Corpus Christi. Bill was a WWII Veteran who served in the US Navy and received both a Purple Heart and Bronze Star for his service to our country. He retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone in 1982 with 32 years of service.

He is preceded in death his parents; his loving wife of 57 years, Lucile Rader; one great grandson; and two brothers.

He is survived by son, W.A. Rader and wife Linda; daughter, Judy Williams and husband Mickey, both of China Spring; six grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

He was a loving father and grandfather and will be missed dearly by his family.

Memorials may be made to Wounded Warrior Project.

My heart is shattered and tears ran down as i found out today of Mr.Rader’s passing!on my brothers and moms birthday.My name is Manny i was his favorite Bank Teller,he was such a sweet man,he would always tell me “well Manny i don’t know if I’ll get to see you next month” like always making sure he said his goodbye and that would make me said i would always tell him i would be praying for him.my God give him peace he will always be remebered.
