William ‘Billy’ Wade Teague was called home to rest with his Lord and Savior early Sunday morning, June 11, 2017.
Memorial Service: 3:00 p.m. Thursday, June 15, 2017 Lake Shore Funeral Home.
Billy was born on February 7, 1932 in Waco. He was loved and raised by the late Wade Teague. He attended La Vega High School. Billy became a master painter with Pearson Paint Shop and a member of the local union. He met and married the love of his life, Lou White, on July 7, 1957. They were to celebrate their 60th anniversary next month. They shared three beautiful children; a son and two daughters.
Billy was a master painter; a craft he proudly taught and passed on to his son. He was an avid fisherman who spent many a day fishing lakes all over Texas, but most of all he was a wonderful husband, caring and hard working father, and a proud grandfather and great-grandfather. His legacy of faith, family and integrity will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Billy was preceded in death by his father, Wade Teague; his father-in-law, Alexander Morales; and his beloved granddaughter, Callie Tullos.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lou Teague; son, Greg and wife, Melonie; daughter, Cheryl Caddell and fiancé, Mike Garon; daughter, Michelle Troutt and husband, Kenneth; mother-in-law, Leonarda Morales; grandchildren, April Jewell and husband, Steven, Lindsey Jones, Sam Herbert and husband, Will, Clyde Tullos, CJ Crook and wife, Charity, Kassie Smith, Wade Troutt and Jesse Troutt and wife, Brenna; 14 great-grandchildren; and many other extended family members and friends.

I’m so sorry for the loss of William. At such times of sorrow we may ask, “Will I ever see or embrace my loved one again?” God cares about us deeply and he used Jesus to answer that question when he resurrected Lazarus. At that time, Lazarus’ sisters and friends stood by to see this miracle take place right here on the earth. The account of this is in the Bible at John 11:11-44 and Psalms 37:29. God wants us to find comfort that we will soon definitely see our loved ones again in a happy, healthy condition.
Lou,
Sorry to hear about Billy. We didn’t hear about it until recently. Now Papa (Paul Keene) has his fishing buddy to fish with. Billy taught my child Nathan a lot about good clean fun and living. He was a great man. He will be missed by many.
